At Curtici, near the Romanian-Hungarian border, a new safe and secure parking area will be deployed with 180 parking spaces for trucks.
It will be located at the rail-road terminal of Curtici in the close proximity of the Romanian motorway E 671. This prime location will ensure significant demand by truck companies and provide multimodal services in line with topical security, safety and transport policy considerations. The parking area will be easily accessible from both sides of the motorway. Moreover, it will provide a significant contribution to clean energy deployment through its use of solar panels.
The parking area will be equipped with a smart parking management system and connectivity solutions with public and private mobility services. The Romanian part of the project is managed by the project’s coordinator Trade Trans Combi SRL.
